Cardinal Resources is a joint venture partnership with GRC Camp Services and Douglas Cardinal based out of Hay River, Northwest Territories. Cardinal Resources is indigenous owned. Cardinal Resources offers turnkey service for companies requiring lodging support across Western Canada. Douglas Cardinal has been working with First Nation communities for over 20 years and is a band member of Katlodeeche First Nation (KFN). The Katlodeeche First Nation Reserve is a prosperous community with a Band Membership of 600 and on Reserve population of 300.

Cardinal Resources has capacity to work on projects across Western Canada. The Cardinal Management team has a mandate to maximize First Nation participation and growth.

GRC Camp Services was founded in 2007; we carried forward our passion for culinary excellence to all facets of camp service. We now offer complete services to support our clients’ full scope of work for remote workforce accommodations.

Our highly experienced team and vendor neutral approach allows us to offer optimal value, sourcing customized camp equipment for your project. We support camps of all sizes from 30-person drill camps to 500+ person lodges.

Cardinal Resources emerged from a team of experienced catering and camp specialists attacking an opportunity within the camp marketplace. This built an organization that prides itself in the highest quality product, designed around the clients’ needs, using a value maximizing approach to business rather than one focused on profit.

It might seem simple, but it requires us to explore every opportunity to optimize our operations. We source local suppliers when able, offer exceptional training to meet local staffing requirements and hire the best teams to produce the best results.
